Section 63.17. Violations, county civil service.

Any person who willfully, or through culpable negligence, violates any provisions of ss. 63.01 to 63.16 , or any rule promulgated in accordance with the provisions thereof, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, on conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not less than 30 days, nor more than one year or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
