Section 285.72. Air quality monitoring station.

  From the appropriation under s. 20.370 (2) (ce) , the department shall fund the construction, operation, and maintenance of an air quality monitoring station in a county identified in its entirety as a nonattainment area for the 2008 8-hour national ambient air quality standard for ozone under 40 CFR 50.15 for the purpose of assessing ozone concentrations. The department may designate the monitoring station as a special purpose monitor under 40 CFR 58.20 .
