29.024 (6) (am), 29.182 (7), 29.184 (9), 29.301 (3), 29.561, 29.563 (14) (bn) and 29.563 (14) (c) 5.; and
to amend
29.024 (6) (b), 29.024 (6) (d), 29.024 (7), 29.171 (3) (a), 29.171 (3) (b), 29.172 (3), 29.173 (3), 29.182 (4) (g), 29.184 (6g) (c), 29.211 (3), 29.216 (3) (title) and (a), 29.216 (3) (b), 29.217 (3), 29.231 (4) and 29.235 (4) of the statutes;
relating to:

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

Duplicates.
If any license, permit, certificate

or card is lost, the person to whom the license, permit, certificate

or card was issued may apply to the department for a duplicate by submitting an affidavit proving loss. The department may accept information in a form other than an affidavit. The department shall make an inquiry and investigation as it considers necessary. If the department is satisfied that the loss has been proven, the department may issue a duplicate license, permit, certificate
,
or card to the applicant.
Back tags and other tags
Tags
issued with a license, permit, certificate
,
or card are parts of the license, permit, certificate
,
or card and loss of any part is considered to be loss of the entire license, permit, certificate
,
or card. Upon applying for a duplicate license, permit, certificate
,
or card, the applicant shall surrender all parts of the original remaining in his or her possession to the department. No duplicate stamp may be issued and if a stamp is lost, the person to whom it was issued is required to apply
for
and pay the regular fee in order to receive a new stamp.

A person who receives a certificate may present that certificate to the department and request a resident or nonresident Class A bear hunting license. Upon receipt of the certificate and the appropriate required fees, the department shall issue the holder of the certificate a resident or nonresident Class A bear hunting license and the carcass tag
