An Act
to amend
8.10 (3) (j); and
to create
8.10 (3) (jm) of the statutes;
relating to:
the number of nomination paper signatures required for city-wide offices in second class and third class cities.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

8.10 (3) (j) of the statutes is amended to read:

For
Except as provided in par. (jm), for
city offices in 2nd and 3rd class cities, not less than 200 nor more than 400 electors for city-wide offices and not less than 20 nor more than 40 electors for alderpersons elected from aldermanic districts.

8.10 (3) (jm) of the statutes is created to read:
8.10
(3)
(jm) For city offices in 2nd and 3rd class cities, not less than 100 nor more than 200 electors for alderpersons who are not elected from aldermanic districts.

Initial applicability.
(1) This act first applies with respect to nomination papers for which the circulation period begins on or after the effective date of this subsection.
