An Act to amend 101.654 (1m) (b) 1. of the statutes; relating to: continuing education requirements for persons applying for a building permit.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1 . 101.654 (1m) (b) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:

101.654 (1m) (b) 1. Annual completion Completion every 2 years of at least 6 12 hours of continuing education relevant to the professional area of expertise of the person seeking to obtain a building permit, approved by the department.
